Under Construction

This project involves the adaptive re-use of two existing warehouse buildings in the Banksia Drive precinct in the Byron Bay Arts & Industrial Estate.

The scheme splits one large warehouse (formerly a mechanics’ workshop) into 10 commercial/retail tenancies, including a commercial kitchen.

A new pedestrian spine through the site creates a laneway which the new tenancies open onto. The large concrete building is overlaid with human scaled interventions to add warmth and break down the large warehouse volumes.
